Demonstration: Women Won't Wait - For Women Scotland

By the 4th of September it will be 20 weeks since the UK Supreme Court handed down its judgment that ‘sex’ in the Equality Act takes its biological meaning, yet very little has changed in Scotland. The government’s trans guidance for schools remains stubbornly in place, men are still housed in female prisons and women’s hospital wards routinely accommodate men.

The Scottish Government has the power and the resources to ensure that the law is complied with across the public sector, but they drag their heels. This won’t go away. We want our government to step up now and sort out the mess their faulty guidance has caused.
