Another letter to First Minister

After writing to the First Minister a week ago we had hoped Mr Swinney would be more on top of his brief regarding women’s rights to single-sex spaces. However, as the video clip below shows, the First Minister continues to make statements that do not accurately reflect the law. We sent the following letter asking, once again, for a correction to be issued.

Update: 20 March 2025

We received the following as a joint response to this letter and our previous letter. The points we raised referred to settled law yet Mr Swinney is still relying on the claim that he cannot comment on live proceedings.
