International Women’s Day Gathering

Tuesday 8th March 2022

As darkness falls on women’s rights in Scotland, we think it appropriate to meet at 7pm at the Witches’ Well on the Castle Esplanade, Edinburgh, to commemorate those fallen sisters who went before us.

For those not in Edinburgh there are, unfortunately, many other markers, stones and memorials across Scotland.

No speeches, no banners, just women standing in solidarity. Please bring a candle.

Other locations include a memorial in Paisley, plaques in Fife, stones in Bo’ness, East Lothian and Forres, as well as a mosaic in Dundee and street art in Aberdeen.
